Our Sporty Kidz had a nice surprise last night when they were joined by two Woking FC players at Goldsworth Park Rangers FC training!

The U7s GPR Knights and our new beginners class for 4-7 year olds, had the pleasure of goalkeeper Nathan Baxter and Midfielder Declan Appau joining them. The children even had a penalty shoot out and were all over the moon !

Sporty Kidz Director Ellie said “It was great to see two Woking FC players, Nathan Baxter and Declan Appau, getting out into the local community and visiting football clubs.

They were really good with the children and kindly let us take lots of photos! It made me proud to be a Woking Fan seeing the players give something back to these young, aspiring hopefuls and I know it will encourage our Sporty Kidz to go to Saturday’s big home match against Chester now! I’ve had so many texts from the parents saying how happy their children are and how grateful they are. It really meant a lot!

If your child is aged between 3-7 and would like to learn football by FA qualified coaches in Woking, we train each Thursday 6-7pm at Winston Churchill School or Saturday 10-11am at Goldsworth Park Rec - only £3 per session!!!
